Message so, after i bought my TT, i had a diagnostic done at a place in houston (i will leave it un-named) and they told me nothing was wrong. the clutch went out,but that's understandable. i bought an RPS sport clutch and had them install it (shop #1). i thought that whoever changes the clutch also does the throw-out bearings at the same time. BUT this shop installed the clutch and did not mention the almost dead bearings until i picked my up. so i thought nothing of it cuz it wasn't emphasized.
i break in the clutch properly. then about 1500 miles later, i take it to shop #2 (also un-named) to have a turbo timer, BOV's and hardpipes installed. it sat there for about 7 days. when i went to pick it up, the mechanic said the clutch was slipping, and i thought he was joking cuz it's brand new. then a couple of younger people that work there also agreed that the clutch was on it's way out (POINT: about 5 people ragged out my clutch having fun with my car when they had no reason to be driving it to begin with). i take it back to shop #1 and they drain the clutch lines and it makes minimal difference. all along, i could feel there was something wrong with the tranny cuz it shifted really horribly. there was a dyno coming up, so i called shop #1 and asked them if it will hurt my tranny if i dyno it, they said it shouldn't affect it, go ahead. then earlier today, i was on my way to a dyno, and my clutch started going out, half way there, it completely went out. i had to have it towed. i do not know what to do, b/c my stillen flywheel is probably messed up and the $800 clutch that i bought 2 MONTHS AGO and my transmission, if not more. what do i do...?
